Paul Miller-Melamed

Historian / Editor / Scribbler

I’m a historian of modern Europe writ widely, having taught and published in 19th/20th-century French, German, Balkan, Habsburg, Holocaust/genocide, World War I, and memory studies. I’m also an experienced editor, doing jobs ranging from analytic philosophy to abstract art history.

At home in Lublin, Poland, I live with my literature professor wife Patrycja, two contrasting kids, one hypoallergenic cat, a glut of gluten-free cookies, and all the comforting chaos that comes with that.
